Unbeatable heliskiing trips at THL

Helicopters are loud machines. A Bell 212 helicopter thundering past your window at 9:00 am is not a desirable scenario for those individuals that have chosen to relocate to the remote mountainous setting that surrounds our lodge. TLH Heliskiing is sensitive to the few locals that live close to our base of operations. We have identified several areas where our helicopters might create a disturbance and have planned flight paths to avoid them. Over a season it might cost a little more to fly around these areas rather than straight over but we gain greatly from the positive relationships we have with the local residents of Tyaughton Lake. We go out of our way to avoid local cabins when departing and arriving at the lodge. When flying our helicopter transfers to Whistler and Vancouver, we strive to ensure our flight paths do not disturb communities that we may pass over.

We fly as efficiently as possible to minimize noise disturbance to local residents, whether they walk on two legs or four, while at the same time trying to be as fuel conscious as possible.
